You may be waiting a little bit for a 4k video to fluently stream over that connection. However, 1440p or 1080p will stream perfectly fine. With that type of speed though, expect one thing to affect another.

I'm using a Netgear WNA3100 N adapter, hub set to WPA2 only and '802.11 n 40MHz' and I get a 300 Mbps wireless signal broadcast (across two channels). It does fluctuate a bit (the average true connection is generally around 216 Mbps, but all more than ample for my 30Mbps Infinity profile).

What you put down was 130kbps(which means kilobits per second) which is .13mbps. yep point 13. I highly doubt your connection could be that slow. You may want to go to speedtest.com and try again.

At this speed, it will take just over 8 seconds to transfer 1 bit. 120 Mbps means 120 Megabits/second. This is a billion times faster (yes, 10 to the power 9 times) than 120 mbps.
