Apr 27, 2020 Can't connect Outlook to Google IMAP Server - Gmail Community I worked for about 2 hours without result. Then I deleted the email account from Outlook, went back and did everything Google Support told me to do including 2-factor and using an alternate password that Google generated for this purpose. No luck, still can't log onto the IMAP server. Have done this 3 different times, without luck.
